Fact-Checking Policy
Every claim on OnlineLLCGuide.com is checked against at least one primary source before publication. State filing fees are verified against the relevant Secretary of State website. Federal tax and EIN guidance is verified against IRS.gov. Service prices are verified against the provider's live checkout flow.
Where a claim cannot be verified from a primary source, we either cite the secondary source with a link or we remove the claim. We do not publish statistics we cannot trace back to an original publication.
Update Cadence
- Service reviews: refreshed quarterly. Every Northwest Registered Agent, Bizee, and other provider review is re-audited every 90 days.
- Pricing tables: refreshed monthly. Any price change by a reviewed provider is reflected on the site within 30 days.
- State pages: refreshed annually, and immediately when a state Secretary of State office announces a filing fee change or a rule change that affects LLC formation.
